CREATING HEALING, DIGNITY, AND SECOND CHANCES IN OUR COMMUNITY

Who we are
The Run & Walk Foundation is a community-focused nonprofit vision created to help individuals and families move from crisis to hope, from healing to opportunity, and from surviving to thriving. Founded on the belief that everyone deserves a fresh start, we walk alongside those overcoming life's greatest obstacles.
We go beyond short-term relief by addressing the whole person—providing access to trade education, career scholarship pathways, mentorship, and trauma-informed support. Our mission empowers individuals to break generational cycles and build long-term stability for their families.

The Journey from Crisis to Opportunity
We operate on a consumer-choice model, meaning our clients shop our shelves to select nutritious, fresh foods that align with their families' unique dietary needs and health conditions. This approach drastically minimizes food waste, respects individual dignity, and models the real-world grocery experience rather than treating food security as a transaction.
Through our core pillars, we stand dedicated to supporting women rebuilding after domestic violence, empowering youth, and honoring our nation's veterans. By treating every individual with respect and providing tangible tools for success, we ensure that second chances become lasting achievements.
Guided by a mission-driven Board of Directors and executive leadership, the Run & Walk Foundation is dedicated to transforming crisis into long-term stability. Through strategic guidance, community partnerships, and transparent governance, our team ensures every step we take brings meaningful, lasting change to those rebuilding their lives.
